*A note about small groups
|
Whether you call a group of people getting together a "small group", a "life group", a "team", or "___________" , you would probably agree that everybody needs community. At Mandrake, building community is a big part of our mission and therefore intentional "people gatherings" have become a regular part of our life together. Anybody is welcome to join a group gatherings at any time.
We have a variety of groups that meet for six week periods during the fall, winter, and spring. These groups often fall into one of two categories: 1) Conversational gatherings are a safe places to openly discuss a variety of topics including issues of faith, doubt, struggle, or biblical studies. They are judgement free zones. 2) Encouragement and entertainment gatherings are intended to build each other up in life and kindle friendships. These groups often find themselves meeting for board games, sporting events, service projects, or other fun activities. |
